Moholoholo - arrival

My tours with Nomad are now over, and holy moly it has been amazing. I've made such great friends and experienced so much over the last 1 and a half month  that even I find it unreal. These are memories I will cherish for life, and I can say that I know this isn't my last trip to southern Africa! But now a whole new part of my adventures have begun - Moholoholo.

(I know I haven't written anything about my second trip, but that will have to wait for now.)

I arrived in Hoedspruit the 15th October after a painless flight. The airport was out in nothing only surrounded by bush. A lady named Kate picked me up, but we didn't go straight to the rehab. She had chores to do. So in this way I jumped head first into the many task ahead, and we went around shopping, going from bank to bank, getting car parts, posting and receiving letters and a lot of other stuff - we did chores for everybody.
After that she dropped me of at the rehab and I was showed around, and got some info about the place. Then one of the volunteers let me follow her to see what they do with feeding and cleaning. After it was a wonderful dinner with dessert and everything, and then early to bed. I am the new guy here, so it probably takes some days before I feel like I'm a part of the group. Jan, our surperviser, calls me "Danish" or "new girl", but at least I've got two months to let the last one slide.
This little fella is a goshawk, so I've already made one friend on my first day. Just kidding - everybody seems nice, and I'm exited to get to know people. I'll try and make a few updates about what's going on, also so people who might want to volunteer can read about the place.
